Heavy hex bolts are utilized in steel construction and other heavy-duty applications requiring significant loads and high stress. The bolts are manufactured from alloy steel that is heat treated to further enhance strength and reliability. Offered in both A325 and A490 grades meeting US standards of ASTM for quality. Many installations require a heavy hex nut to further secure the connection; consider buying the assembled unit that includes a bolt and nut together. Certifications are available, per request.
