The solution included color-coded, clearly labeled bins and the full implementation of our electronic system to support streamlined, customer-supported reordering. This hybrid approach allows your team to maintain direct control over inventory usage while leveraging Fasteners’ expertise to ensure consistent replenishment and system efficiency.
The redesigned supply area now consolidates both standard and metric hardware into less than 20 feet of wall space, organized with scannable labels for quick identification and replenishment. When a bin is emptied, staff simply scan the barcode and enter the required quantity, ensuring fast and accurate order entry.
Weekly replenishment cycles maintain consistent stock levels, reducing the need for manual tracking while ensuring inventory remains organized, reliable, and readily available.
