Simpson Strong-Tie's nailon pin drive anchors are an excellent cost-effective option for light to moderate capacity applications. The 1/4" x 1 1/4" nailon are suitable for static load conditions and offer some corrosion resistance from the zinc plating. These anchors are not recommended for overhead or tension load applications, as load capacity will be significantly reduced. During installation, the pin is driven into the anchor, causing the collar to expand and securely grip the sides of the base material. Pin drive anchors offer a reliable, flexible solution for installation in concrete, block or masonry surfaces.
