Service tees, or street pipe tees, are essential pipe fittings used to create a branch tee in a piping system. These connectors are designed to handle flow and high pressure. Two of the openings of the pipe tee offer FPT (Female Pipe Thread) and the third is MPT (Male Pipe Thread), which are typically NPT threads. The MPT side allows connection with another fitting type or component, while the FPT sides connect directly with the pipe. All openings are designed to be equal sizing to maintain the flow and pressure between them.
