Nylon Insert Locknuts

A nylon insert locknut, or nyloc, offers the same locking feature that all metal locknuts offer. What’s the difference then? A nylon collar insert is added to the locknut with a diameter slightly smaller than the threading of the screw. This nylon collar allows the nut to grip the threading of the screw, reducing the likelihood of the nut loosening or vibrating off.

Grade A- zinc and zinc yellow
Grade C- plain, phos & oil, and zinc yellow
