Square Nuts

A square nut has four sides, instead of the standard six sides on a finished hex nut. They are available in grade 2 strength steel offered in plain or plated for moderate corrosion resistance. Often times, a square nut is assembled with square head bolts but they are designed with standard sizes and threading.
