Our 3/8"-16 x 1/2" Low Head Socket Cap Screws feature the same raised knurled cylindrical head as standard socket cap screws. The low head height is approximately half of the screw"s thread diameter, making it ideal for applications with limited vertical clearance. Black oxide is standard and readily available, offering a minimally protective layer while maintaining the superior strength of alloy steel. The hexagon drive is advantageous for installations with limited space, allowing a user to apply the appropriate torque using a standard Allen wrench.
