Our 3/8"-16 x 3/4" Set Screw, Cone Point offer a strong permanent connection with superior holding power as the cone shape acts like a wedge against the far side of the material. These are manufactured from 18-8 stainless steel giving them excellent corrosion resistance properties. Unlike standard screws that feature a head and threaded shaft, headless socket set screws consist of a fully threaded shaft designed for flush installation. This design is ideal for mechanical assemblies with tight space constraints, such as securing a pulley or gear to a shaft, as the screw sits flush or just below the surface once the appropriate torque is applied.
