Our 3/8"-16 x 1 1/4" cup point set screws feature a nylon patch applied to the threads, providing extra security by creating friction between the threads and base material to prevent the screw from loosening. Socket set screws with a nylon patch are commonly used in applications subject to vibration or movement, where maintaining a secure hold is critical. The cup point offers both permanent and semi-permanent connections. The screws are finished with a black oxide coating which offers minimal protection.
