The 3/16"-24 x 1/2" Carriage Bolts are best known for their smooth, rounded head and square neck. The square neck beneath the head grips into the material to prevent the bolt from spinning during installation, allowing for easy tightening from one side. The smooth head style makes carriage bolts an excellent choice for fastening surfaces that need a clean, finished look.
