The 3/4"-10 x 13" Carriage Bolts are best known for their smooth, rounded head and square neck. The square neck beneath the head grips into the material to prevent the bolt from spinning during installation, allowing for easy tightening from one side. The smooth head style makes carriage bolts an excellent choice for fastening surfaces that need a clean, finished look. These are manufactured from A307 grade A low-carbon steel, thus yielding a lower strength which is best suited for low-stress applications in general construction projects. The carriage bolts are hot dip galvanized offering excellent protection from corrosion.
