The hex head style can be fastened with a wrench or socket driver, enabling high strength tightening and extra secure connections. Fasteners Etc., Inc. supplies USA made grade 5 hex cap screws that meet industry standards for ASME B18.2.1, offering minimum tensile strength of 120,000psi available in plain steel and zinc. Hex cap screws that are grade 5 strength can be easily identified by three lines on the bolt head, manufactured from medium strength steel domestically.
