The low head height is approximately half of the screw"s thread diameter, making it ideal for applications with limited vertical clearance. Black oxide is standard and readily available, offering a minimally protective layer while maintaining the superior strength of alloy steel metric class 8.8. The hexagon drive is advantageous for installations with limited space, allowing a user to apply the appropriate torque using a standard Allen wrench.
