Our #10-24 x 1/2" Set Screw, Slotted are available with a cup point, offers both permanent and semi-permanent connections. A slotted set screw requires a flat screwdriver for installation. Manufactured of 18-8 stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. Unlike standard screws that feature a head and threaded shaft, headless socket set screws consist of a fully threaded shaft designed for flush installation. This design is ideal for mechanical assemblies with tight space constraints, such as securing a pulley or gear to a shaft, as the screw sits flush or just below the surface once the appropriate torque is applied.
