Our metric M12-1.75 x 35 MM cup point set screws offer both permanent and semi-permanent connections. Unlike standard screws that feature a head and threaded shaft, headless socket set screws consist of a fully threaded shaft designed for flush installation. This design is ideal for mechanical assemblies with tight space constraints, such as securing a pulley or gear to a shaft, as the screw sits flush or just below the surface once the appropriate torque is applied. These are manufactured from 18-8 stainless steel giving them excellent corrosion resistance properties.
